First and foremost, we love history.  It tells us where we came from and how we got to where we are today; it defines who we are as individuals, families, and societies.  Foundational degrees in History are so important, they provide the understanding and knowledge for us to ensure your family's story is accurate, and when we write it for you, we can make it come alive.

This foundation also provides us with the ability to accurately interpret and evaluate the vast array of original documents encountered, including experience reading/deciphering period handwriting to discern information which is usable and accurate, and that which is not.  The number of errors found in transcriptions of handwritten period documents, especially those done by AI, are astonishing.  In nearly every case AI interpreted handwriting is simply accepted as accurate - and it is not.  We verify every document before accepting it into our research set.

Genetic genealogy - using DNA in genealogy - is a fascinating and incredibly important tool.  We're experienced using all the major DNA testing services and utilizing all tools available, basic and advanced.  Your DNA is 'owned' by your ancestors; chromosome mapping helps identify which of your ancestors gave you which parts of your DNA.  Your relatives share these DNA segments.  Finding these segments in other people identifies them as your relatives, and perhaps more importantly, how you are related.  This is an incredibly powerful tool for solving complex genealogical mysteries - the kind we like the best.

As you may have gathered, we love what we do.
